I just organized the freezer (I've just been taking it to the basement and just shoving it in the freezer).
I have over 900 ounces! So awesome! I am going to look into donating because I am freezing at least 18 (if not 24) ounces a day (he eats 12-15oz a day of fresh). I'm not quite ready to donate yet, because I want to wait until he is 3 months and I am positive I'm not going to just dry up. Plus, I know eventually he'll be eating more. But, I'll get screened while I am still on maternity leave.

Re: Freezer stash AW
That is awesome! That was totally what I needed to hear! I am planning on pumping until he is 1 (or shortly before) because RSV season goes through April here (he turns 1 on May 13th). I want him to get at least some fresh milk every day through then so he gets the most current antibodies I am making.
I am going to start rotating my stash a bit (feeding half fresh and half frozen for awhile to use up some of my earliest milk. We do have it in a deep freeze. So, I know it can last 12 months in there.
Thanks for responding! You really made me feel motivated!
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

AWWWWWWW
That's awesome - I wanted a PIP!
I've never thought to think of how many ounces he has - and I never knew you could get mini-deep freezers. I think that's the way to go and falls into the "if I'd known earlier I would have" category. HOPEfully we will be EBF sooner rather than later, but we're ready for the end of the world if it comes before then ;D
Congrats that's awesome!
I donated about a month's worth of milk when we were discharged because I didn't have anywhere to store it (and didn't know about a mini deep freeze!) and I'm so glad I did. There is a big shortage of donor milk here right now so I feel great about being able to donate a little. Let me know you have any questions, I'll try to answer them.
