I used some last night at BRU and the cashier totally gave me tude. I stabbed her in the face so it's fine. I just want to know whether to expect this every time.
FFS! They are just like coupons. I wonder what her problem was. I use them at BJ's and stack them with other coupons and they are just usually impressed with the savings.
We got bad looks from people all the time when we went shopping for WIC stuff. It got funny after we decided it shouldn't be embarrassing, and they were only making themselves look like baboons... And if we managed to get in line with our huge buggy-full in front of a snubber, it was great. Usually we let people who are buying much less go in front of us. But not them.
The cashiers at BRU are tudetastic around here which is why I don't any more. I order diapers, wipes and toys from Amazon or Target and get formula from Target. I buy their clothes from the Carter's, Polo, and Gymboree outlets. I will do anything to avoid that store.

I don't bother with BRU and get my formula at Target. Most of the cashiers don't blink an eye at them, but I do get an immature teenager at the register on occasion who does nothing but *** about the extra steps to process the check.
I tell them to STFU and do their job. I am the customer and I am always right *saying that sarcastically*.

I agree with others...I dislike the cashiers at BRU. I buy our formula
at wal-mart, it's cheaper there and I have gotten no tude from using the coupon checks!
I use them at Walmart, they barely even look to see if I even bought the product before scanning it through. I dont go to BrU unless they have something I want that I cant get at Walmart or Target.

Yep. I've had nightmares about these checks! They're not like coupons, they don't just scan. And most cashiers don't know what to do with them. I've ran into this problem several times.
One time, at Walmart, the cashier was looking at it, totally confused on what to do with it. From watching other cashiers, I say, "I think you're supposed to run it like a check." So he runs it through the check thing, and it gets so fvcked up, that it completely voids out my entire purchase! I did all my grocery shopping at wally world that week, and had a full cart of groceries bagged already. After calling the manager over, she didn't know what the hell to do, so they had to end up taking all my groceries out of my basket, scanning them all again, and then she just gave me $5 cash back. True story.
Moral of the story, Walmart employees are morons.

Yes last night at walmart the lady wouldn't take mine. She said it wouldn't scan so she couldn't do it. I was running late and just paid and left. I hate morons.
I just got attitude at BRU today. I had 4 ($12), because another Bump mom gave me a stack. I bought 2 refill boxes ($60+). The cashier got an error as she tried to do the 3rd check, and had to call over a manager. The manager said, "Oh we can only do 2 per transaction." And then I smiled and said "Okay. Just return everything then and I'll go to Target." MIRACULOUSLY they took all 4 checks.
We don't even have a BRU here but there's one particular front end coordinator that I avoid like the plague at the store we go to because even though the store manager personally told me I could use as many checks as I want as long as it does not exceed the formula purchase value, she insists that I can only use one per container of formula purchased. I've only had one bagger ever give me an attitude about my WIC stuff (they have to put a marker line across the barcode) but for the most part I like to make cashiers jobs as easy as possible with my wic stuff (I get three checks, one for my formula, one for my cereal and 16 jars of baby food, and one for just 16 jars of baby food) and I separate out my stuff by what's on the checks. Cashiers love me.
I've had good luck at Target. One cashier even let me use 2 checks with 2 different names on them (that I had traded with some Bumpies). Win!
For this child I prayed, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.
