Officially tried the hair tie trick!

You know the one where you loop a hair tie through the hole and hook it on the button of your pants? Ahhh....sweet relief. I probably should have started this last week!

Anyone else resorting to this as a last stitch measure to switching to bigger pants??

    Yes.  With some of my pants I have been doing it for weeks Embarrassed  It helps relieve the pressure put on my stomach and back to have my pants be a little looser around the waist.

    I recently lost weight before I got pregnant....but now I am back wearing the next size up of pants. I am glad that I still have them.

    I did that last week but this weekend I'm sticking to yoga pants this weekend...they are MUCH more comfortable!

     I started using the Bella Band yesterday, and can't believe I hadn't done so sooner.  Sweet relief!!

    Oh yea its a very affordable thing to I havent done this yet but my previous pregnancy I have.It safed me the trip on going to the garageand getting the maternity clothes out for a little while more.

    I bought a bella band but with my booty it just doesn't work well for me.  I broke down and bought some maternity clothes.  I am so much more comfortable now!

    I got the belly bands for my nasty bloat at first and I hated the feeling of it on my stomach so a friend told me to do the hair tie. I did it for the first time yesterday and am in love!

    I LOVE the hair tie trick. Sadly, it doesn't work with my work pants so, I'll be looking soon for new ones!

    I wore the bella band, but it made me sweat. I have an adjustable belt on my pants that I keep unbuttoned and unzippered. Only problem is, I have to wear long shirts- my tee shirts. So I look unladylike and frumpy and fat with my big boobs making my shirt tent out. *sigh* I feel so unlovely.

    I have never heard of this, but I am looking forward to trying it!  I have used a bella band a couple of times.  I like it, but with denim it hurts where the zipper ends.  I have 1 pair of jean shorts that fit, and since it is a HOT Texas summer I wear them or gym shorts.  I will have to try this because I am getting tired of my 5 same bottoms all week.  HA!
