Carrier for 3 yo?

DD is about 28 pounds. She hasn't been carried in a long time, but we are going to Chicago in a couple months with my mom. The baby will be worn, and I am guessing pretty well that the toddler won't want to walk for the better part of 3 days! She might ride in the stroller, but I almost don't want to tote it around if I don't have to. Plus flying with it, etc. Ug!

Any suggestions? Ergo? I have some baby wearing friends, so I am hoping to borrow one from them for the trip. So hopefully I can find something that will work that i don't have to buy.

I have a BabyHawk (which may work, but I will probably use it for DD2), a Moby (nope), and  Bjorn (nope).

Re: Carrier for 3 yo?

  • We still occasionally carry our 4 year old (29 pounds) in our Ergo carrier. Well, my hubby carries him, since I'm pregnant. The Ergo is easy to use and hubby carried him around for 2 store trips yesterday since DS was tired. Have a fun trip!!
