XP: our FB Post Today

Right after I had LO I was ready for number two! Well DH was smarter than me, so we used condoms(after our scare) and now I'm on the pill and he agreed that we would address me going off the pill in September.

Well since then I have started running again, and kind of had my eye on doing another half marathon in February. Then this conversation happened after our FB post today:

Me- Would you support me if I wanted to run a half in February, and then go off the pill?

DH- I thought you were going off the pill in September?

Me- Really? I thought you'd rather wait? I would like to get running again.

DH- Well I've been thinking...(then goes into rationalizing why we should start trying in September ie: doc told us we have a much higher chance of more m/c, what if we don't get pregnant right away, we want four kids and he doesn't want to be 40 when we have the last one)

Me- Indifferent

So....I had talked myself into waiting because I thought he wanted too, but now all his reason make so much sense!!
We now have  a deal that I am on the pill on a month to month basis and we will address me stopping it each placebo week.

    DH just snickers when I bring up TTC again. I keep mentioning February. He hasn't said no, but he hasn't said yes yet either. I think he doesn't want to say yes just yet because he knows I will hold him to it. LOL. I want these babies to be fairly close in age. My younger brother and I are 1 1/2 years apart and my mom said it really wasn't too bad. She's encouraging me to have them close together.

    Almost to a T for my situation with TTC and DH... My brother and I are a hair under 2 years apart, while my sister and I are 11. That's a pretty big difference (she just finished freshman year of high school. She graduates the same year that I have my 10 year reunion).

    well that's cool! i want to try again in january, but like the above post, dh won't say yes or no just yet. :-) good luck either way!
