Practicing our REALLY loud voice....

Wow...we're in the REALLY loud squealing, shrieking stage.  I was enjoying an iced coffee in a bakery yesterday and DS was squealing so loud I thought the cupcakes would start shaking.  Luckily we were the only ones in there, but it looks like we'll be thinking twice about going to restaurants.

Anyone else's LOs shrieking loud enough to crack glass?

  • Yes - but I wasn't sure if it was a stage or competition with her brother and cousins! Either way it is doing my head in!

  • Oh my, YES!!! It is insane. He was in his exersaucer this morning SCREAMING at the little lion puppet on there. We kept saying, "Poor Mr. Lion!!!" and DS would look at us, laugh and start the cycle all over again.

  • My two are now saying "Dada" and "Mama"- I don't think they understand the concept but can say the words clearly.  However this means that we MUST yell and scream them to out do our brother.  At first I thought it was funny- not so much now.
  • Ohhhh yes. We went to Panera last night and she screamed so much, DH finally just took her outside (luckily he was done eating). I was so embarrassed. We used to be able to take her out quite a bit to restaurants but it looks like that stage is over!

  • hahaha no.. he's not shrieking so much as grunting and making GRRRR noises really loudly. We were at the doctors' office and he had the whole waiting room watching him with his loud grunting.

He likes to yell pretty loudly right after he finishes nursing.  He pulls off, throws his arm out and yells, "AHHHHHHHH."  Apparently my milk is just. that. good.

Lol! G is not usually loud...except when he's in pterodactyl mode.

    That's hilarious!

Nora is definitely going through a loud stage. Thankfully we seem to have put the pterodactyl shriek behind us (for now), but she loves to babble VERY LOUDLY, especially when we're in public in a quiet place. She was ALL ABOUT telling people her thoughts on the wine today in the very quiet wine shop we visited. Good times.
