Winnie the Pooh Movie

Did anyone take their DC to see this?  I'm interested in how it was as I'm contemplating taking DD to see it for her 1st movie in the theater.

Re: Winnie the Pooh Movie

  • My Aunt took her grand child who is 20 months she enjoyed the first five mins then she was running all over the place and getting in people face my aunt said it was a bad idea to take a 20 month old to a movie it was her first 1.

  • Took my nearly-3 year old for his first movie experience. He enjoyed the experience. Not sure how much of the movie he followed, but he said he liked it and it was fun taking him. He hasn't seen a lot of Winnie the Pooh. Probably one of the better "first movies" out there. It's 1 hour 9 min, plus a sweet short film before the show starts about a sweet Loch Ness Monster-- (not scary at all)

We just took DS last night.  It was his first movie.  He was very well behaved and it was perfect for him.  Not too long, nothing inappropriate, and some funny parts for the grown-ups.  Highly recommend it.

Edit:  DS turned 3 in May.

  • We'll be taking DS as his first "movie"  I'm a little nervous because we took him to the circus and even that experience wasn't enough to keep him fully engaged.  I think that might have been because he wasn't heavy enough to hold the seat down and it kept folding up with him in it Smile

  • DS & I went on a date today.  He did ok, he's not too into Winnie the Pooh so he was kinda restless.  I liked the movie a lot, it wasn't long.  He was ready to go half way though, but we stuck it out.  He did  a lot better at the longer Cars 2 movie, but it's a pretty good 1st time movie.

  • We're going to take both girls in a couple of weeks when we go on vacation.

DD1 has been in a theater before for longer movies (Rio, Cars 2) and was fine -- she got antsy for a few minutes during Rio, but mostly was entertained.

It's short enough that I think DD2 will be okay, and if not, oh well -- one of us will go walk her around the lobby for awhile and then come back.

  • We took DD#1 while on vacation on Saturday, and she loved it!  Loved the short, loved the whole experience!  It was her first movie in theater, and she did great.  I loved watching her face more than watching the movie!  But it was cute, lots of neat things with the letters and words in the story it told.  Highly recommend it!
  • I took my two todders (3.5 and 2.5) and they really enjoyed it; but they have always loved Pooh anyways. Very age appropriate for toddlers, short and sweet. Would recommend it.
