PIP question

in February 2011 Moms

I see a lot of people are writing their user name on their LO's pic in their siggy.  How do you go about doing that?  I've never known how to insert text on a pic.

    I use photobucket and if you hover over the picture once you upload it gives you an edit option. Click on that and it will take you to a new screen where you can do some fun editing stuff. The text option is one of them in there. Hope that helps at least a bit. I have no idea with other programs like tinypic.
