Two Under 2

if you own a combi twin sport

I have a 17 month old who will be 21 months when his little brother gets here gets here and thinking of buying either this stroller or the sit and stand so just wondering.

1. do you love it?

2. did you use an infant car seat with it? i have a graco infant car seat it's not the 32 it's the reg size one and wondering if it will be okay. Also do you need to buy an adapter for the car seat or does it just snap in?

3. what is an infant boot? it was in the description but i have never heard of this and just wondering what it isEmbarrassed

TIA

  • 1. YES love it

    2. I use the graco snugride in it and it fits just fine. No special adapter needed.

    3. No idea.

  • I don't think a sit and stand will work with a 21 month old. They just don't listen at that age or understand danger. You may be able to get away with wearing the baby for 6 months and then trying the sit and stand when your oldest is 27 months.

I have a Combi and love it. I never used it with carseats though, but it did come with a carseat adapter. I bought mine last year and it didn't come with an infant safety boot. I think that's material that you snap around the bottom of the seat so that baby can lay flat and not slide down. It also provides warmth. It kinda makes it look like a stroller bassinet, KWIM?

  • Wasted my money and ended up buying a real stroller. So hard to push and steer, canopies got all bent the first month and hardly gives shade.  Get a city mini. So worth the difference!

  • Oh and as far as the graco seat goes, you can jam it in there but not secure. Always felt nervous that it would fall out.

I found it to be very secure. I tested it out in BRU before DD came and grabbed a graco snugride from the aisle and put it in the stroller. I violently threw the stroller around (with NO kids in it, of course. lol!) and the seat didnt budge at all.

I've used it for just about 6 months now, and have no concerns of the seat falling out. I even "off road" with it and push it through some grass/a bumpy road on my way to the playground everyday and it's stayed very stable.

The sun canopies do stink, though. I do agree with that.

  • 1. It's been fine. We use it for occasional walks and it works well for that.

    2. I have used a carseat (snugride 30) in it with no problem. Snapped into place securely and didn't protrude into DS's seat. I didn't buy an adapter.

    3. I have no idea what is.

  • I returned ours to amazon because I didn't realize how much Peyton would enjoy hitting/picking on Morgan in the beginning, and she was SO tiny.  So side by side made me nervous & I didn't feel like it would fit through lots of places (even though it would, it just made me nervous, again lol)

We have a sit n stand deluxe.  In a few months I will buy the jeep double umbrella stroller (we have the jeep single) for both of them and sell our sit n stand deluxe (it's pretty heavy..)

  • i just sold mine on craigslist. it felt really cheap. the wheels are so small, it's ok for walking at the mall but outside it sucked and the sunshades are horrible. didn't really think that was a big deal till my newborn was totally exposed. i have graco snugride and didn't even try to use with my carseat, i just don't trust my 2.5 year to not push on it w/the baby in there
