  Update: Not much to report.  DTD often, but not really tracking much.  Hoping to O on my own, w/o meds this month.  Have a ton of other stuff going on right now, both good and bad (not too bad) so I'm blessedly distracted from 2IF!

  QOTW:  I love Folgers commercials.  Get up early, yet rested, grab a cable knit sweater to fight off mountian chill, grab a cup o' joe... hit the farmers market to buy organic yet cheap veggies, then return home to work on your latest novel... sigh.  Add a few kids to the picture and "voila!" perfection!

  I'd also love to live in the town of Grady, from Doc Hollywood - makes small town living look cool.

  Update:  I was pregnant, my hcg levels sucked and now I am waiting to miscarry naturally.  If nothing happens by monday then I have to schedule a d&c.  I just want this over.  This loss has hit me harder than the rest by far...I guess that's what happens when you've lost 5 babies.

  We are taking a forced break and meeting with the RE for the first time August 5th...I'm nervous. 

  QOTD:  I don't really know...right now I am struggling hard core with grief so my thinking process is distorted.

  UPDATE: I'm 7dpo. My chart is meh.  I haven't been feeling much, but DH is convinced I'm K/U. I'm not even sure when I Od.  AF should arrive a week from today, or maybe yesterday or maybe tomorrow, as my luteal phase is always 13 but I'm not positive when I O'd.  Ive been temping (smack me!), but in a more low-key way (hug me!). 

  QOTW:  Some combo of: The town in Baby Boom with Diane Keaton...The big family and the parents' freaking compound in Northern Cal in Parenthood...I miss my old hockey team that always made me feel the camaraderie from A League of Their Own...The easiness of the relationship and the huge NYC apartment in Mad About You...The Gilmore Girls' town....

  Update: Went in this morning for a follie check and they found one measuring 18mm.  Want it to get to 20 mm before giving me the okay for my trigger shot, so I am going back tomorrow morning.  If everything looks good, will trigger tomorrow night and do IUI on Monday morning

  QOTW: I would live in the town that Friday Night Lights in located in, but ONLY if I could be Tim Riggins girlfriend and we could live in a nice house...not a trailer

  Finishing a week of Lupron.  Should start stimulating early next week.  I'm nervous about the whole ivf process.  Acupuncture helps.

  My life would be a movie.  Probably on lifetime.  I met my husband in Paris when we were 21 and 22.  We broke up, married other people, got divroced, got back together....Etc.

  Update: just intro'd on the board. Found out yesterday that I have a Balanced translocation (basically my chromosomes are arranged the same as every one elses) DH and I are meeting with a geneticist next Fri. and are now considering IVF with PGD. I'm still feeling overwhelmed! But I'll take it one day at a time.

   

  QOTW: hmmm, I'll live in one of the beach houses they show on House Hunters International. Wake up to the view of the ocean, walk off my balcony onto the beach....yes, please!

  
  DD conceived with no issues, but born at 33 weeks due to PPROM
  loss #1-06/2010 loss #2-2/2011 loss #3-5/2011
  07/2011 dx with a Balanced Translocation
  9/2011-decided on domestic infant adoption 10/2011-signed with an agency and getting ready for homestudy
  12-2012-after being with our agency over a year and only shown to EM once we decided to talk with RE about DEIVF. Thru a crazy sequence of events we decided to go for it and we picked a donor MUCH quicker than anticipated
  1/13/2013-started lupron with anticipated transfer in mid Feb.
  ER 2/15 resulted in 15 eggs/10M/6F with ICSI.
  2/18 transferred 1-8cell and 1-9cell embie. Snuggle in little embies.
  positive on HPT 6dp3dt. Could this really be IT?!?! Beta 14dp3dt=2440. U/S scheduled for 3/20.

  Update:CD12 and having a lot of O pain. Hopefully, I'll get the ok on my OPK soon. DH submitted a sample to do a SA. We should get the results next week. I don't have high hopes because he sort of botched the sample, similiar to Jennykg's DH.

  QOTW: Someone already mentioned Parenthood. We have that same feeling in our family, except it's much smaller. Just me and my sister. I would have loved to have a lot of siblings to grow old and bicker with. Also, the real estate in that show is amazing!!!

  Conceived DD after 15 cycles--- TTC #2 since 11/10---Me- Poor egg quality and supply---DH- Poor count and motility---2 rounds 75IU Follistim/IUI-BFN---5/12 150IU Follistim/IUI-Over-produced! Converted to IVF! 0 fertilized:( Rescue ICSI performed. 2 embryos transfered-BFN

  Thanks for the welcome JMay!!

  Not on an official break, but we are TTA for at least a month or so because I have a herniated disc and I need to get this feeling better. It's gotten worse over the past 5 months and PT isn't cutting it anymroe.  I'm having an epidural/cortisone shot on Thursday. If that seems to do it, then I'll talk to the spine doc to see when we can TTC again. Although unless the low GI diet does it's magic, IDK about any TTC. One day I'll start charting again.

  QOTW: Community. Want to join their study group haha. Love that show!

  Update: My post D&C bleeding seemed to stop & AF seemed to start (day 26). I can't be 100% sure of course, but I really think it was AF (because it changed so drastically). Also, my hcg was 14.3 this week. Hoping it will be zero in no time... sometimes with molar pregnancies they plateau at the end...

  QOTW: I'm gonna say parenthood too. I love the closeness and togetherness of the family.

  ETA: Just found out that our most recent loss was a boy. : ( I posted separately about it... we hadn't planned to find out the sex of any of our losses until we completed our family (and even then we weren't sure about).

  BFP 1/8/11, chemical pregnancy.
  BFP 3/4/11, measured behind all along, no more HB 4/18/11. D&C 4/29/11. HCG didn't drop, Repeat D&C 6/17/11; confirmed molar pregnancy 6/23/11.
  Forced break, including two Hysteroscopies in October to remove retained tissue.
  BFP 12/29/11! Betas @ 10 dpo = 85, 14 dpo= 498, 22 dpo = 7242
  Heard HB 1/24/12. 144 bpm!

  UPDATE: Still on a break post D&C.  I had stopped spotting for a couple days but had some bleeding yesterday and today, probably because I started exercising again after about a 2 month break.  I'm sooo sore!

  QOTW:  Hmm, I can't think of any specific movie or show, but I agree with everyone who mentioned Parenthood.  I LOVE that TV show and I always wished I had lots of brothers, sisters, cousins.  I also just watched Bottle Shock and it made me want to move to Napa Valley and buy a vineyard.  Apparently I just need to live in Northern California!

  Can I officially introduce myself?  We have been TTC #2 since April 2010.  I had a hysteroscopy to remove scar tissue (a result of my c-section with DD) in November 2010 and had to keep a stent in for a few weeks to help my uterus heal.  We have since been diagnosed as having unexplained secondary infertility.  I have had three full cycles of clomid and IUI.  This last one was a BFP.  We found out on Friday afternoon that my HCG levels were really low, and sure enough, I started bleeding Friday evening.  So we are now waiting for a consultation appointment about next steps.  Now that we are possibly knocking down the IVF door, this is getting too emotional and stressful to handle on my own.  You ladies have been great to lurk with, but its high time I said hello!

  JMay, thanks again for putting this together.  I'm not on here much these days, but you girls are always in my prayers.  I feel like women who have are going through or have gone through 2IF have some sort of bond that other women will never understand (like a private club that no one really wants to be in!).    Anyway, my update is a funny mental image for everyone. Tonight I ran out of our local pizza place and started violently vomiting right out front.  Then, while still throwing up, my nose began to bleed and I loss control of my bladder.  Yep, that's a pretty mental image huh! This continued for about 20 mins with other people coming and going.  I keep reminding myself how hard it was to get pregnant and that I certainly shouldn't complain...but I'm also not sure I can go back to that restaurant anytime soon! HA!

  Update:  IUI #3, 15dpiui, still BFN.  Will start injectables next cycle (cycle 29)

  Update: Hello old friends! I have some exciting news!

   MY TRIPLETS ARE HERE!

  They were born yesterday 7/16/11 at 32w2d, all weighing over 4lbs!

  I am going to post a birth story very soon with some pics attached, but just wanted to give a brief update and thank all of you girls who helped keep me sane in the IF process and have been rooting for us since we got the amazing news of triplets!

  Thanks for the welcome.  I didnt have internet this weekend.   No update since my introduction last week....just waiting to find out if my first IUI worked or not...I go in for a beta a week from today, but will probably test before that. 

   

  Im stumped on what movie i would like to be my life...but all the talk about California has me thinking about wine country which makes me think of Sideways and drinking wine all day...which hopefully I will not be able to do for 9 months real soon.  But, if I do not get my bfp, perhaps i will console myself with some really good wine

  Update: Started birth control pills last week, in hopes of it re-setting my system while DH is deployed. We're anticipating him home in a few weeks and we'll start TTC again in September probably.

   QOTW: I have no idea what show/movie it'd be! Although there is a new show coming on in the fall called "Up All Night" that looks hilarious and I can't wait to see it!
