Hostage Situation across the street from my house

Not sure of all the details, but there is a hostage situation across the street from my neighborhood at a hotel. 1 officer has been shot in an arm or leg but is ok otherwise and a 6 person SWAT team just entered the hotel. Everyone in the hotel is being evacuated to a nearby church.

We are ok and I highly doubt the person can escape, but it's just a grim reminder that crazy people are everywhere and they have the motive and means to hurt others.
