Painting white crib yellow

I have two used white cribs that I would like to paint yellow.  Have any of you painted your cribs?  If so,  how did you do it and was it super hard?

    Honestly?  I would be afraid to paint a crib.  Babies tend to chew on them at some point and then you get chipped paint that they eat & swallow.

    really, people paint cribs all the time. Just ask the paint people in your store what kind is safe to use.

    This! Cribs are painted when you get them new, we have painted our crib before and never had a problem. Just ask the people what is safe to use on a crib and baby friendly, they should be able to help you out!

    There is also a little plastic guard cover you can put over the top--the part the baby is most likely to chew on when standing up.
    Foster to Adopt Licensure Process. Expect to be licensed in Sept or Oct. Looking for infant and older sibling.

    I would probably have it sprayed. With all the little rails I think it would be hard to get a nice finish with a brush or roller.
