So we buy multi-visit packages for the dogs at daycare. On Monday they told us they each had 1/2 day left. On Tuesday, they said the same thing. And on Wednesday, and Thursday.
I figured Tuesday was a fluke, but by Wednesday I felt uncomfortable and wanted to tell them that there was a glitch in the system and we owe them money. DH says that since it's mostly the same people who are checking us out, they should figure it out themselves, that they're responsible for their revenue. I think it's cheating. I think tonight we need to tell them we owe them from Tuesday on, DH says wait and see.

Re: An ethical question for you
This. It's the same person every night, and every night she says that we still have 1/2 a day. DH's stance is that since it's the same person, she should figure it out.
I'm telling them tonight. It's cheating and that kills me. DH thinks I'm nuts.
I say you should tell, especially since you are feeling guilty about it.

At this point I would have to say something but part of me has to wonder if you didn't say anything how long this person could look you in the face day in and day out and tell you that you have half a day left. Would you make it to Christmas?
I don't understand how she keeps saying 1/2 day. It;s been 4 days...
I would do this too.
I would also hope that they wouldn't back charge you for the days this week that you weren't charged (if that actually was what happened).
Mmmm...cake!
