Puking bile right before bed?

I used to be nauseous 24/7 but I only puked 3 times.  Now, I feel sooo much better during the day, but after dinner I take a turn for the worse and 3 nights this week, right before I go to bed I end up puking bile.  No food comes up and I know there is still food in my stomach because I only ate 1-2 hours ago.  It's weird.  I guess I'd rather have this just at night than be perpetually nauseous, but does anyone else have this going on?

  • This is all i was puking up the past week and a half! Its only in the mornings though and by noon i was fine. Yesterday though was the first day I went ALL DAY without puking! and i'm feeling much better today!! Hoping i'm headed out of the nausea stage!! I hope you head out of it soon as well!!

  • Throwing up bile is the WORST! Luckily, I've only been nausous not throwing up but I had a stomach bug a couple of months ago and thats all I threw up for 24 hours. So sorry you're dealing with this, I hope it eases up for you soon.

  • I was feeling horrible at bedtime, and that's when I was taking my prenatals.  I started taking them in the morning, and I've felt a lot better at night.  I'm a little more nauseous in the morning now then I was before, but I take them with breakfast, and honestly I'd rather feel crappy for a couple of hours in the morning then at night when I'm trying to relax and get to sleep.  Just a thought if you're taking yours at night too.

That's a good point, but I don't think that's it.  And, I have to take extra folic acid and baby aspirin, so I try to take them in the morning and the pnv at night.  I always puke before the pnv and then I take the pnv literally right before putting my head on the pillow.  Oh well, it sucks, but I'd much rather have this than the 24/7 nausea!
