43 week 40 hour hypnobaby water home birth story

Long, long over due, I have finally written my birth story.  My friends joke that i am incapable of telling a short story, and this is no exception so I broke it down into two parts on my blog:

I will post some pictures tomorrow, but it's 1:30am and I am taking the babe to his second "play mat" date tomorrow at 10am, so I realllllly should go to bed.

I just want to say that I joined this Natural Birth board back in May 2010 when I first found out I was pregnant, and it was so so helpful both through my pregnancy and labor.  I learned so much from the women here, and those last few weeks when you all supported me and kept me from losing my mind as I got further and further past my due date was so very helpful.  Thank you all!

    Congrats!  My baby girl was also born in the water at home at 43 week, after 40 hours of labor.  My SIL also just had my nephew at 43 weeks. :)

    God love you pinksweetpea!  40 hours and 43 weeks is no friggin' joke.  I guess if I had looked at *everything* else in my life - I should have known it would be like this for me ... seriously I am the girl who does everything and wants it done right away ... the universe really really wants me to learn patience.  Maybe I have learned it enough for the next one ;)

    we got this board started right around the time you joined! i wonder how many other mamas have been similarly helped since! wish there was a way to track that! it would be such a feel good number (even if it was just 1!).
