  I'm think of getting this for DS' 1 year pics, but I wanted to ask if anyone has been to the one in Springfield mall and has any feedback. I think these places depend on the photographer/staff that you work with...

  We've gone to the one in Springfield and been mostly satisfied with the results. The photographers have always been very receptive to any ideas I had. It's Picture People, so you're not going to get super artsy photos...pretty much straight-forward posed pics, but for $18, I'm usually pretty happy.

  I did this deal in the spring and it was great.  We went to the one in Dulles on a Saturday morning, and my only advice is to try to get the very first appointment of the day.  It was quiet and easy when we got there, and by the time we picked up our prints, it was a madhouse!

  I've used the Springfield one and have been pleased.  We actually are portrait club members as well and it's been worth the extra money for us.  For the money, I think the Picture People do a great job.  I second the early morning or weekday appointment though.  It's essential.
