Thirsties Duo Wrap Questions snaps?

What I've been reading makes me like Thirsties Duo Wraps will be the best covers for us.

However snaps vs no snaps 

I am planning on doing a combination but which is better for each size 

Do I need more snaps for one size over the other?  

What about in the long run what holds up better? we are planning on around 3 babies using theses

    Snaps hold up better I have been told but you use the size ones only for 6 months or so so the velcro doesn't get too worn out.  I can get a better fit with velcro and fumbling in the dark, middle of the night changes-it was just easier

    So, having two or so with velcro for night changes and then the rest having snaps would probably be a good way to go then.

    That sounds like a good system, but I actually really hate the velcro. I feel like it is too far down on the front of the diaper. But that could just be b/c my baby is really long and the rise on size 1's are too small now.

    Ditto the pp who said snaps hold up better. However, I hated the Thirsties Duo Wrap in snaps. There just weren't enough snaps on it to get a good fit. It was horrendous. We love the Duo Wrap in aplix though.

    For snap covers I like Blueberry coveralls. There are plenty of snaps to get a good fit. And there are two rows of snaps so you can customize the fit for the waist and around the legs.

    This. My only uncontained blowout in cloth thus far has come when she's in her Thirstie's snapped cover--we have velcro for the rest. It squirted out the leg hole and got me, the Boppy and 2 couch cushions (but not the onesie).

    The velcro is starting to fray a bit, but we're lazy and don't necessarily take the best care of them. For how long she'll be in them, though, the velcro should make it no problem, but the snaps probably hold up better over time. It's my last cover in the pile, though.
