Hate thinking about food

So for the past 2 weeks, it's been constant nausea and fatigue whenever I (read: the baby) wants food. Which is pretty much every 2 hours. I am constantly having to plan ahead about what snacks I pack in my desk at work, and what I'm having for lunch, breakfast, etc. I have never had to worry this much about food before, and now I hate it. :(  Plus, since i haven't told work, everyone's making jokes about how I snack so much. >_<

 Anyone else just sick of food? Thinking about it, being hungry for it, etc?

  • Me me me.  I'm so sick of being hungry all the time.  Fiance and I are taking a mini-moon (thats my nick name for it) for 3 days after we get married and we are going to a B & B.  So now I gotta plan to have snacks and food for all the other in between times.  Can't wait til this nonstop eating subsides.
  • I'm kinda having the opposite problem. Every time I think about food from the time I get up in the morning, until around dinner time, I feel sick. And, chewing gum is the only thing that seems to settle my stomach, so my jaw is not to happy right now either. 

     The joys of pregnancy... :)

    Yup, nothing sounds good to me and after I eat the nausea gets worse.

  • Totally understand! I get hungry about every 2 hours too!! And I'm getting razzed at work too! Meal time has turned into an event.  It seems like nothing sounds good to eat, but the longer I put it off, the sicker I get.  Half the time I end up forcing down whatever is around, which usually takes the nausea away enough for me to decide what I can eat.

  • Me too! I've been so annoyed that I have to eat when I'm nauseous. It's not enjoyable at all, but I have to do it or else I'm in danger of throwing up wherever I am. The best thing for me to eat is popsicles, but they don't really quell the nausea like real food. I am so ready for the 2nd trimester.
