Fussy during growth spurt?

DS is FF and has been eating like crazy the past 2 days and has hardly been sleeping.  He is typically not a fussy baby, but at night he wants to be rocked to sleep and as soon as you put him down he wakes up crying.  I am hoping this is because he is going through a growth spurt and not how things are going to be from now on.  Anyone else experience fussiness during a growth spurt?

    My LO hasn't been himself the past few days either. Guessing it's the 6 week growth spurt? Hope it passes quickly! I miss my mellow baby.

    If by fussy you mean screaming bloody murder and chewing on his hand likes it's his job, then yes mine is right on par with yours lol

    Oh my gosh!! YES!! All he wants is to be held. I cannot put him down. I've tried to let him self sooth and sometimes I just can't handle it. I give in and just fall asleep sitting up while holding him. Haha. He fights sleep so bad. He used to be such a good and mellow baby and I'm wanting that back! Hopefully this growth spurt goes through him quickly.

    I'm right there with you ladies.  The last 3 nights have been hell but tonight seems like I have my sweet, sleepy boy back.

    Yep - me too...thought hmm...gas? but then talked to pediatrician and he said growth spurt...the screams are blood curdling! Poor baby! (((poor mommy??)))

    Man I hope this is what is going on with C.  She was AWFUL last night... screaming bloody murder from 9 until 1.  I felt really bad for our neighbors(live in a townhouse with shared walls), but I felt even worse for her.  I hate when I can't comfort her at all.
