Eating lunch in the bathroom

Why? Because Katie didn't nap this morning before music class. She fell asleep on the way home so I hit the jimmy John's drive through and drove home. She is asleep in her car seat in the livingroom and I don't want to wake her so I'm in the powder room with the door cracked! At least I know this bathroom is clean because it's my own!

I don't think I would eat even in my own bathroom. If she's in the car seat, can't you move her somewhere else in the house?

LoL... this! If you got her all the way from the car to the living room, I kind of doubt a sandwich wrapper will wake her up.

Yup. And the cleaning lady was just here yesterday. And our house is old and squeaky so there is no way I would have made it up the stairs. But lunch is done now so oh well, I guess I'm just gross. I'm comfortable with the level of cleanliness in here and that's all that matters.

Just so you all know these are threads not ribbons. One of the girls on my other board was polite enough to inform me that this site uses the term "thread" rather than "ribbon".

So, its ok to stick a tooth brush in your mouth and brush your teeth in a bathroom but not eat? Not that I would eat in my bathroom, but I don't see much of a difference. You are still sticking something in your mouth from a "poo particle" filled room. Right?

I agree with this, plus on Mythbusters they proved that the poop particles are pretty much everywhere, not limited to the bathroom. /nerd.

I still wouldn't eat in the bathroom though. My kid can go to his own room, in his crib, and if he wakes then we eat together. Maybe we just got lucky, but once J switched to a convertible carseat it took a matter of days for him to figure out how to fall back asleep when we brought him in from the car.
