Are they worth it? We are going to the beach soon and I thought it'd be cool to tote the kids in a radio flyer wagon. They are kinda expensive so I wanna know if they r at least worth it.
There are many different versions of the Radio Flyer Wagon and some are more expensive than others. We got one for Brady last summer and got a great deal at Wal-Mart. We went with this one:
I think we ended up getting it for about $20 less than that.
We have used ours at the park and at the zoo and at the baseball fields (when DH was playing). We think it's worth it. I'm not sure how hard it would be to pull through the sand, though... haven't tried that.

Have y'all seen any used one for sale? TIA!
We love ours - use it for neighborhood walks a lot. We have the "Ultimate Comfort Wagon" version during a huge sale before christmas on Amazon.

This is the one we have. With out the shade top {it broke } You guys are more than welcome to borrow it for the trip and see if you want to buy one. I will say we love it though.
We have the All-Terrain model, and we love it. I purposely picked that model because the suspension and tires let you travel on pretty much any surface. The thing is pretty roomy too. The downside was that it didn't come with a canopy, so we had to buy that separate, and since it's roomy it also takes up a lot of space.
I stalked this model on Amazon for about 6 months and managed to pay $105 for it. It's listed for around $140 right now, but I think (I can't believe I'm saying this) that it's prime wagon season.
We just took ours to the beach and it worked well. We have a regular one without the ATW tires. I think it depends what beach you are going to. We were at Jekyll island and the sand it more packed there so it was a hard surface to pull on, if we were in Navarre/Destin area with the sugar sand beaches, it wouldn't have worked.
We also have the Ultimate Family wagon with the canopy and have loved it. I think we'll definitely get more use out of it once Parker is sitting up on his own and will put the boys in it all the time. You're welcome to borrow it if you want to try it out.
We have the same one as MrsKLB and I bought it at Costco - I think it was $90 or so. I bought it last year for DD's first bday and DD has loved it since day 1. Great purchase. Check out costco.com and see if they have it!

It isn't radio flyer, but there is a blue Step 2 wagon on clearance at Costco (brookhaven). On Sunday they had 6 or so left @ $35.
That being said DH said we don't need a wagon and it is just more to store. *shrug*
