2nd baby BFing/uterus shrinking question

I gave birth on Tuesday. My milk hasn't come in yet (although I have a feeling it will show up tomorrow. It took 3 days w DD). Anyway, my uterus shrinking is excruciating this time. I didn't even notice it w DD. every time he eats I get intense cramps, I feel like I have to poop, terrible cramps. I have to get up at least twice in the middle of him eating to cry it out on the toilet. Sorry if this is TMI I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I should call my dr?

    Mine hurt much, much worse this time. I cried while feeding him quite a few times. I think it stopped after 10-14 days. Hth!

    The nurses at the hospital said it would be much worse the second time, and advised me to take ibuprofen at any sign of pain, so I could stay ahead of immense pain. They also gave me vicodin if I needed something stronger.

    I never felt it with DD#1 either, but it hurt like crazy with DD#2. I asked for pain meds to deal with it while in the hospital.

    The shrinking cramps are worse with subsequent babies and I hear that each subsequent time is worse than the time before that. I didn't notice them with DS, but I did notice them with DD. I don't remember them being excruciating, but they were definitely uncomfortable. Talk to your doctor for reassurance, but it could be normal.

    Much much more intense after this baby than with my first DS. In the hospital, I was taking Darvocet and after coming home I took a high dose of Motrin to stay on top of the pain. The cramps from uterus shrinking down were absolutely worse than my contractions during early labor.
