Does anyone get tingling in their fingers? Today I was putting on makeup and noticed in both of my hands, the tips of my fingers were tingly, like they had just fallen asleep. It is now a few hours later, and although it has lessened, it is still there. I'm guessing since this week the placenta is really digging in maybe it's a circulatory thing because of that?

Re: Odd symptom to have...
My oddest symptom is that I have a small area in the crease where my thigh, hip and stomach meet that is numb. Maybe 2-3 inches long and 1 inch wide. Its been numb for 3 weeks now. When I sleep on either hip I almost always wake up at some point during the night and the numbness has expanced to just under the circumference of a basketball. But once I lay flat (or stand) the feeling comes back for all but that 2-3 inch section right in my crease.
I asked my doctor about it at my appointment on Tuesday. He said that when we are pregnant, our body tends to retain fluid everywhere. He said it sounded like there was some pressure near the nerves in that area and that if the feeling comes back when I reposition, that everything will be fine. He said that it will probably continue through my pregnancy until I give birth. As for the section that's been numb for 3 weeks, he said that if it continues the feeling may never come back. He said he could refer me to a neurologist, but that I would not enjoy the tests they would do to try to determine exactly what was going on, and that they would most likely tell me the same thing - that there really isn't anything they can do.
Not sure if that helps any of you, but my oddity didn't seem too far off the tingly fingers. Perhaps there is some fluid retention in your arms???
OMG! I have this numb spot on my right outer thigh. It's about the size of my palm but it gets worse when I'm sleeping and the area around it starts to tingle and burn.
This happened during my pregnancy with my son but it didn't happen until my second trimester. It's annoying but it does go away after the baby is born.

The tingling in your hands is probably the development of carpel tunnel brought on by pregnancy...apparently quite common. You know its carpel tunnel if the tingling is located in your pinky and ring finger. If it's anywhere else it is CT.
FWIW, I've experiences numbness and tingling in both arms anytime I fall asleep which I've never had before. Doesn't matter what sleeping position, I always wake with the tingling.
