I 'think' there are some of you on here (I live in Sarnia myself). I was talking to my sister (who lives in TO and takes buses/subway from Scarborough to downtown daily) about a clip from the Detroit news DH saved for me about a mother BFing in her moby wrap who was harassed by a bus driver (the driver and dispatcher were suspended without pay for 5 and 3 days respectively).

I asked her if she ever sees moms BFing on the buses/subway in TO and she said no she never has. I said she probably just isn't noticing because women are doing it discreetly and she claims she would have noticed and no women ever BF on Toronto transit- I find this hard to believe (especially with some of the crazy long commutes). Have any of you noticed women BFing on Toronto transit? More of a curiosity question than anything.

    i don't think i've ever noticed someone BFing on the ttc.  then again, like you said, it's very possible they were discrete about it and that's why.  i know i have seen people in coffee shops, mall food courts, etc. BFing.  i've never seen any backlash to this.

    I haven't fed on TTC, but I haven't taken the TTC with her yet. If she gets hungry when I do take her on it, I would not hold off feeding her! That's really sad to here they actually harassed her about it Sad

    Before I had her I used it daily and don't think I noticed anyone BFing.

    I've fed in lots of other public places though and have never had a problem (and I don't usually cover her face? only when there's sun or wind in her face? or if she gets too distracted to eat).
