     See that is what I was thinking the more I looked at it, my doctor said he is pretty sure that it is a boy.  But I see lines not the usual turtle head.  I am hoping for a girl so I thought I could be crazy!!!

    I'm not a dr, so listen to him, but I have three girls :)

    This is what girls look like or some similar variation of this. Labia on the outside and clitoris on the inside.

    Did he see something else that might indicate boy?? Scrotum?

    I'm a first time mama too but that looks like a girl to me..  My u/s definitely looks like a boy and you can see the difference in our pictures.

    That angle looks like it is from the top, and not the bottom, so I would guess boy if it is from the top.  If it is from the bottom, I would say girl.

    This angle totally looks like a side view to me.  The head is at the top, with an arm, and then the leg at the bottom.  Baby is facing the left side of the screen and the right side is his/her body.  If this is the case, I think what you pointed out is the umbilical cord.  It seems like it isn't a shot of the goods to me!  Good luck either way :)

    i would say it looks like a girl too! if it's a boy, that's not a great shot of his goods

    The machine he was using is what I am pretty sure is the first ever made so the pictures are awful!!  It should be in a museum!!  Anyway, he kept saying girl, boy, girl no boy, then he stuck with that so we will see at 30 weeks for sure.  Thanks for the replies ladies.

    I just had my gender u/s yesterday and it's 'parts' looked just like that... and IT'S A GIRL.  So that's my guess!

    If that picture is from the top, there is no way it is a girl.  It really looks like it is from the top, by the way the foot is bent like that. 

    I wish you didn't have to wait so long to get a better idea!!!!!!

     You should go to the in-gender forums and post it there, there is a u/s tech on there, and she will tell you what she thinks... worth a shot!
