Any raves about your last-minute nesting bursts of energy or something?Feeling pretty good, although it seems that my boobs have gotten sore again - a problem I haven't had for quite awhile. Feeling good but sleepy. The dogs were keeping me up last night more than my bladder! I'm pretty proud of myself for figuring out how to organize all of LO's stuff from our showers. It was getting cramped in that nursery!

QOD: Do you have a birth plan? Have you discussed what you want with your DH/SO? How about your doctor/midwife?

No set birth plan. DH and I did go over my pain management options last night, and I feel good about my decisions. We've discussed a few things with my doc, not too many specifics yet. He is so great, I'm so happy to have a doctor that both DH and I are comfortable with and who seems genuinely excited for us, despite having a ton of patients. He's very personable.

I came out with a big head of hair! DH had some dark peach fuzz. I think this guy will come out with a pretty good amount, too. I can't wait to see!

I'm feeling alright--right now at least! My stomach seems to constantly be hurting and then being interrupted by BH contractions and actual contractions but for the pain I'm always in I'm feeling pretty decent. We just got our glider yesterday and besides picking up the room and throwing away the old raggedy chair we had and little odds and ends--our nursery is complete! Now I just want to relax and sleep as often as possible until the big day.As for a birth plan I'm really just planning on going with the flow. My only thing is that I would rather not have Pitocin and an Episiotomy if I don't have to but I trust my doctor's judgement and I trust for them to do what's best for me and LO. So whatever happens, happens.Both DH and I had dark hair when born, mine had some red in it which was odd since no one in my family has any trace of red in theirs(I hope he has some! I love it in mine!!) so for that reason he should have a full head of hair. But if the OWT is right about not having heartburn and coming out bald then he should be as bald as can be. We'll have to see!

My back is killing me when I sleep. Just can't seem to get comfortable. I miss the days where I actually looked forward to getting into bed and falling asleep! I've been nesting a ton, but I look around and nothing is where I want it...

I have an idea of what I'm looking for out of labor, but nothing written down. I've talked to DH about and and briefly spoke with my OB.

We both came out with a little hair. I don't think I'll have a baldy And I'm convinced he'll come out with curly red hair!

How are you feeling today? Any raves about your last-minute nesting bursts of energy or something?Feeling alright, pretty tired.Any complaints? I think my LO has been pushing on a nerve, the last week or so, I have really bad pain either on the right side of my mid back, or my left hip. The right side back pain is like a achey, hard to breathe kind of pain. and the hip pain, is a sharp pain that travels to the left side of my lower back. Some times it's so bad I can't list my leg, I have to shuffle to move around, and going up stairs is impossible. The pains will come and go, but it's so difficult! Any raves about your last-minute nesting bursts of energy or something? I've been nesting like crazy! It's actually a good thing bc I'm moving Aug 1st, so it's giving me so much energy to pack stuff up and get things together. I went out and bought all the other things we needed from BRU with my comp. coupon lastnight, and this morning, I was sorting everything (diaper things, Feeding things, bedding, clothing, toys, etc.) I'm now on 6-9 mon clothes to wash, all the rest is washed, dried and folded, and put into bags until we're ready to set up his dresser in the new place. 6-9 mon clothes will just be going in storage, but it's good to have them all cleaned. Next is all the bed linens, and receiving blankets. QOD: Do you have a birth plan? Have you discussed what you want with your DH/SO? How about your doctor/midwife?Yup, it's all typed up and ready to be printed and put in the hospital bag! I haven't really talked too much to DH about it bc he always says it's whatever I want, as along as it's safe, and the doctor agrees. Do you think your little boy is going to have hair when he's born or have a sweet little bare head?My mother says I had a full head of blondish brown hair. Idk about DH, his mother passed away when he was 16, and his Father hardly remembers anything. DH is the youngest of 6! But I definitely think LO will have hair! Idk what color though, DH has bright red hair, and me Dark brown, that's the big question in both families now

I'm mostly feeling good except for some groin area pelvic pain when I turn at night or try walking after laying down for a while. Once I get going I'm fine though. I am constantly cleaning still, but I'm home for summer so I usually do that then anyways.

DH and I have discussed everything and we both agree on everything. I haven't talked to my doctor yet, but I'm pretty easygoing and simple so I really won't require much out of the ordinary.

We both had a head of hair on us so I'm guessing our little guy will too! Can't wait to find out!!

So far I'm doing ok today. Normally my legs and pelvic area are sore when I wake up (thats what normally wakes me up) Today the pain isn't as bad, and I only woke up because I had to pee yet again!

Any raves about your last-minute nesting bursts of energy or something?

I have my last shower on Saturday and my parents are coming out. (I live in Philly, they live in Pittsburgh) THey haven't seen the nursery yet, so I feel like I'm in full mode to get everything organized and perfect even though its pretty much finished!

My Drs do not do birth plans. They say they take everything as it comes. DH knows exactly what I want, and he will be there to state my needs in case I am unable to.

I was bald and didn't really have hair until I was 2. DH had some hair. I think LO may have some peach fuzz.

I am feeling pretty good today. I propped my feet up for a few hours last night so the swelling went down. The nursery is pretty much finished other than hanging the valance above the window. I still have my two showers (one this weekend and one next weekend) to get through and have been stalking my registries like a ninja. It looks like almost everything has been purchased and I am looking forward to getting the new things washed and put away.

As for the birth plan, yes I have one but it isn't written down. I have discussed what I would like to have happen with both DH and the Dr. and they both think that my expectations are reasonable. I trust my Dr though and we have already discussed what the plan B is if things don't really go the way we are planning. DH is on board with his part and understands that when I say enough is enough that I know my body well enough to take me seriously. Fingers are firmly crossed and prayers have been said repeatedly that things go well. Either way, when it is over little man will be outside and as long as he is healthy I am ok with however he gets here.

DH and I both had a full head of dark hair and from what we saw on the 3d/4d u/s, this little man is definitely going to match his parents.

I'm exhausted. I babysat my nephews last night while my brother & SIL went to see Josh Groben (sp?). Otherwise, I'm still feeling pretty good. I started to swell a bit in my feet and hands (ugh), but no complaints otherwise. As far as last-minute nesting? HELL YES! No raving, more like freaking out! ha I am in Full-On cleaning, organizing mode. I feel like there's so much still to do with so little time...Ahhhh!

No set birth plan really. DH and I talked about it, and I'm going into this with an open mind in that anything can happen. I don't really know how I am going to handle everything, but I am going to try and stay med-free as long as I can, but if I need it, bring on the narcotics!

I want our Peanut to follow after MH in this department because he was born with a full head of dark hair (in fact, everyone in his family has a head of THICK hair). I, on the other hand, came out a baldy and now have the fine hair to prove it. Boo. So, I'm crossing my fingers and toes that lil' man has a full head of hair!

I am feeling pretty good. Tired & achy even though I slept almost 9 hours last night. I just feel "full of baby" haha I have chilled out a little bit on the nesting but I plan on checking off all the last things on my To Do list by the end of this weekend

Yes, I have a birth plan and it has been discussed w/ my DH. I have a pretty big appt tomorrow with my OB and we will discuss a lot there. If my presentation ultrasound shows that baby still hasn't flipped we will schedule a tentative C-section date. I plan on putting my foot down on not attempting a version as well, if my OB suggets it.

I was born with a head full of auburn red hair (which later turned to blonde-how funny!) and DH had a few sparse brown hairs (which later turned to auburn red). I would love for my LO to have lots of hair, as my nephews both did, but if he doesn't I'm sure he'll be super cute anyway My mom is DYING for a red headed grandchild since she has a brunette & a blonde already haha

Good morning moms! How are you feeling today? Today I am feeling pretty darn good.

Any complaints? I was having really bad headaches that were making me sick but OB gave me some meds and now I am all better. Just wish I didn't have to pee everyone 2 mins! haha

Any raves about your last-minute nesting bursts of energy or something? I haven't felt good at all so I haven't really had many. I think about it and want to do it but can't get myself up! The room is almost ready though doing a little while I can.

Enjoying my week off from work, dreading going back on Monday My little man isn't moving too much this morning and has me kinda worried so I'm drinking some juice and gonna lay down for a while.

Slept most of the day. I actually out-slept the two cats in our house... I am craving chocolate for some reason, but am too lazy to get some, and don't want to make my husband run to the store.

Ha ha ha, my husband asked me today, "when does the nesting start?" He really wants me to be more active, but knows he can't nag me to be since I am kind of incubating our baby at the moment. It is driving him nuts, and I am actually loving it!

Tomorrow morning we are going to the doctor to talk about a birth plan. Me and the husband talk about it a lot, but really have not set 'plan', mostly just guidelines. I feel weird because I don't want an epi, not because of the baby... its just I am super scared of needles... and a big one in my back makes me want to cry. I might change my tune halfway through labor though ^^

I was a platnum blonde, so I had a teeny tiny bit of peach fuzz when I was born, and my husband didn't have much either. We think our little rabbit is going to be a baldy for a little while.

Feeling a bit tired...had a bad nightmare last night about delivery and woke up feeling exhausted. I had a last minute nesting burst last week...I posted pictures down below of what I made the boys. I was kind of proud of myself!

QOD: Do you have a birth plan? Have you discussed what you want with your DH/SO? How about your doctor/midwife? We do have some requests that we are making for the c/s. We have an appointment next Tuesday with the doc and then the c/s is scheduled for next Thursday. We will talk about our requests with him then.

Do you think your little boy is going to have hair when he's born or have a sweet little bare head? We both had hair, but he was a tow-head blond and I had really dark, almost long hair. I'm kind of hoping we end up with one of each, just to throw people off a bit on the whole "twin" thing.

Thanks so much Catahoula! We're pretty basic, non-youneek people when it comes to names, but I didn't want names that I've seen in my classroom 5 times in the last seven years. I've only had one of each of those names since I started teaching in 2004, so I don't think they are overly popular in this area.

Can't wait to see your LO as well (and hear which name you decided on!!)

How are you feeling today? Other than feeling tired pretty good thanks Smile

Any complaints? Don't mean to complain but just my pelvis, lower back and right hip is killing me! Does not help that I sit all day at a desk but good thing I have a heat pad and I can take frequent breaks if needed.

Any raves about your last-minute nesting bursts of energy or something? LOL burst of energy ha! I am ready for naps at any time.

QOD: Do you have a birth plan? We do have a BP and we know it does not mean it will happen but we hope that it will.

Have you discussed what you want with your DH/SO? Oh for sure he knows we want to try to have our baby natural and with no interventions. I know he will be a wonderful coach.

How about your doctor/midwife? Our Doctor knows our BP we discussed it with him.

How are you feeling today? Any complaints? Any raves about your last-minute nesting bursts of energy or something? I'm feeling pretty good today, of course I haven't done much yet.. so.. yeah..lol... I wish I had some bursts of energy, but I seemed to use all mine up a few weeks ago.. but thank goodness my DH seems to have caught that sympathy pregnancy symptom too (he had nausea and weight gain too! HAHA) and he and my DS have been cleaning house for the last two days.

We are having a rc/s so we don't have a lot planned for the actual birth plan, but we do have some things for afterwards, like having baby in the recovery room with me. NO BOTTLE feeding by the nurses or anyone else (they did this with my son after being told not to) and having LO stay in my hospital room not the nursery. The fact that DS will be the first one to be let in to see LO and I once we are out of recovery, those types of things, and yes my DH and I have discussed all of it, and will be letting our Dr. know at our appt. on Monday which is when we will be scheduling the c/s.

Do you think your little boy is going to have hair when he's born or have a sweet little bare head? I had a very full head of pitch black hair, and DH had very little blonde hair, so it's a toss up. Plus his mom's side of the family has a wicked amount of redheads, so it will be interesting to see how LO comes out, I'm kinda hopeing for lots of hair,(I've definitely had enough heart burn for the kiddo to come out with waist length hair.. so if he has none, some "Ol' Wives" are definitely getting their TAILS kicked!haha) not sure on the color, but DH has his heart set on a redhead..lol...

Hope Every One has a Great week, I know we are all hitting "the wall".. but it isn't much longer and our LO's will be in our arms!

I'm wondering if its the calm before the storm. I am really excited about cleaning my house today. The smell of bleach is almost orgasmic to me SERIOULSY!!!!

Nesting is pretty much keeping me inside the house lately. I just want to be at home getting everything ready. It doesn't help that I keep having false labor contractions. I keep trying to ignore them but some of them are quite painful.

My hospital has all moms fill out a birth plan since your OB doesn't deliver your baby. All deliveries are done by CNMs who work in shifts so you get whoever is on call. My birth plan has already been faxed over and is in my file. This way they'll better know who to assign to me based on my birth preferences.

I was bald when I was born. DH had dark hair. DD had dark hair but then it all fell out and came in blonde and eventually turned into these beautiful spiral ringlets. I really hope DS gets the same hair as DD.

How are you feeling today? Any complaints? Any raves about your last-minute nesting bursts of energy or something? Feeling ok but I am so ready. Just a few more weeks. I had a good nesting burst last night. I got a lot done for what little energy I have left.

QOD: Do you have a birth plan? Have you discussed what you want with your DH/SO? How about your doctor/midwife? My birth plan is to try and go natural but if I decide to take medication I will not be disappointed. SO is to be there and be as supportive as possible and whatever I want or need he gets me and that's what I want from him. I have mentioned to my OB and he thinks my plan is great!

Bonus fun question: Did you and your DH/SO have hair when you were born? Was one of you or both of you bald? Do you think your little boy is going to have hair when he's born or have a sweet little bare head? I was a baldy until I was 1 and I am not sure about SO. They mentioned that he did have hair at our 4D U/S. And I was surprised because as the OWT states you get heartburn and I have had none.
