That is just so rediculous. Yes, I was afraid what would happen to my vagina with a normal delivery too, but never once would I have asked for MAJOR SURGERY in order to prevent some stiches. In fact I told my doctor many times I hated the idea of a c-section unless it was medically necessary.

This is me, I BEGGED my Dr. not for a c-section (not that it was my choice if necessary)! I was more scared of the cutting open then my vag being a little/lot mangled for a few weeks/months.

lol. I'm too convinced it's mud to bother replying, but I'd love to tell anyone who opts for a c/s because of silly things like how your vag will look afterward that I had an unplanned one and am still in pain 4 months later. Recovery has been horrible and I hate that my labor ended in surgery. And the lady bits are not in great shape, either - sex still sucks! That post is so full of misconceptions, both about natural birth and c/s...yikes.
Super entertaining. I just never found the point in wasting time on posts like that... though I probably have no room to talk, I don't plan on ever trying a VBAC, not because of how I'll look or feel down there but because emotionally an emergency c-section after 29 hrs of labor isn't something I want to experience again.

I hope she has a c-section so she can learn first hand just how "easy" they are. Idiot.
