I actually did not read it until after I replied to this thread and immediately thought, freaky.

What's really silly about this whole Hootie thing is, I don't even own a Hootie album anymore, but I get stupid happy when I hear, "Only Wanna Be With You." I don't know why. I haven't purchased any Hootie since, when were they popular, yeah then...

Sure, maybe once in a while on random rotation. But, can you honestly tell me that if you were forced to listen to "All that she wants" on repeat you wouldn't consider jumping out a window?

And FF, Hootie and AofB are both Freshman year of college for me. I had an annoying friend in loooove with tone-deaf hootie, and a next-door neighbor in the dorm whose stereo was on the other side of the wall from the head of my bed. She played I Saw the Sign nonstop (literally - she had it on repeat whenever she was home) for the first semester. I switched rooms after that.

Oh, and FF I'll have to share JM stories sometime.

I also love Paul Simon, Run DMC, and Adele. And I can't stand The Doors or Rolling Stones. Don't hate. I stand by my eclectic taste. Stick out tongue

I'm going to cut you some slack for being a young naive High Schooler while I was sophisticated College Coed. And I'm sure we can come up with a mutually agreeable catalog of artists from which to choose our impromptu glee-style playdate song and dance numbers.
