update... weaning/sleep training

hi ladies... i always find such great support here and love hearing success stories so thought I would continue sharing mine

I got great advice from you ladies and its been awesome... We started at the beginning of last week with bath, nursing then reading then bed instead of nursing to sleep... we had planned to eventually do nurse, bath, books, bed...

well tonight he went to bed without nursing! He knew the schedule and said Milk in cup tonight momma... i said ok no mommy milk? no in cup! ok then he gave me my hug kiss snuggle goodnight and said love you mommy! and off he was into the bedroom to read with daddy and an hour later he was asleep!

After taking our pictures and having a good cry last week I am really happy with how easy it was! I felt like it proves that we were both really ready!

Now to work on naps.......
