How do you organize all the hair stuff? We have a bow holder but what do you do with head bands, clips, & the ponytail holders that have ribbons/bows on them?
I wish I could be more organized with their hair stuff. Right now all of it is in a small wooden tray next to my sink in the master bath. It's all mixed up together - all the ponytail holders, bows, clips, bobby pins, et cetera. We have very few bows and head bands because the girls don't like wearing them.
We have three separate baskets on the bathroom counter--one for ponytail holders, one for clips and bows, and one for headbands.
But no matter--it's all mixed up anyway, with some toys and toothpaste and plastic jewelry to boot.
I don't even know why I try to do her hair anyway. Most of the time she'll take her hair down in the middle of the day anyway, and I'll never see the clips/bows again.
I have a large frame on her wall that's covered with her sheet fabric. Then ribbons secured it going down. I think clip all the bows/flowers on there. I have a small basket that holds all her headbands.
This all makes me laugh. I bought a little pack of various colored tiny rubber bands and they're still in the container. That's the only hair stuff we have!
Mar ourgrew/outcollected her first bow board I made her - it holds Eliza's little bows now
Mar now has a pig 2 x 3 canvas with ribbons on it. One afternoon I got out my ribbon box and my hot glue gun and let her pick what ribbons she wanted where. So it's pretty fug, but she's proud of it
We also stick headband through the ribbons and it works well enough (although we only have two headbands.)
Rubberbands are in a little zipper pouch on the changing table along with combs & brushes.
