Book Recommendation for toddler raising

So i just posted on the Toddler 12-24month board but was hoping fellow 2U2 moms may have a suggestion too.

I am looking for a good book that will address normal toddler situations plus possibly have a chapter that discusses bringing home a new baby.  DS will be 18monts when DD joins us.

I haven't read much on discipline styles or methods at this point either, as DS has been such a good kid so far haven't stressed it but I do what to continue being consistent and diligent that I could possibly avert some discipline pitfalls if I know what they are upfront.

  • Toddler 411 is pretty good.. there's a bit on new siblings.. change.. etc.

  • Ditto the Toddler 411 book. We also have what to expect in the toddler years and that has helped.

I've also personally done a lot of research (and have had a lot of success) in positive discipline. You can find out a lot more about it online.

And the BEST book for how to juggle and give attention to your toddler while tending to your baby is:  Parenting the Strong Willed Child.

Narrative play (explained in the SWC book) was the thing that saved us by helping me learn to help the toddler feel like he was still getting enough attention even though my hands were full and busy tending to the baby.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
