I read all the time that some types of spotting are normal, but with this being my first pregnancy, it is scary. Last night before bed, I went to pee, and when I wiped my discharge will very lite pink (hubby described as orangish). I almost did not notice it, but I inserted my finger up there, and there was more, but not a whole lot. Definately not anything to wear a pad or tampon, and I was not having unusually painful cramps. However, I did have a dull pain in my back. This morning, symptom were not** there. Part of me says this is nothing, but the other part is worried. Also, I did have a yeast infection, and I was on the 3rd day of treatment with Monistat 3. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Re: Should I call the doctor?
Is Monistat the one that goes up in the vajayjay? If so, then that may be what caused it. If you see more blood or start having serious cramping, call the doc, but IMO, it's related to the medicine.
Rule of thumb: If you're concerned, call the doc. There's no question they haven't heard, and the worst they might say is to go in and have the nurse look at you. In this case, they may just prescribe an antibiotic instead of having you take something OTC.
Sorry! I did not mean I used a tampon. I was just trying to use something to compare how much there was to.
