So DD ends up with us most nights and I BF at night at least a couple of times I am sure (can't remember most times).
Anyway, she has a babsitter two morning a week now and I pump (in the am before the sitter comes but after she has nursed 1h+) for her to have something around her nap time.
I just started this week and I am at a loss when to pump, I SAH/WAH and hardly pump anymore since we are together most of the time.
Before DD bedshared she didn't nurse at night in a grazing fashion like she does now so I feel like my morning supply which used to be the best of pumping is not anymore.
I could use advice as to when to pump? Try to pump other times during the day in advance? My night time supply isn't the greatest so thats out.
Tips would be great here!
Re: If you bedshare and BF a supply ?/pumping question
I agree with PP. Try to pump closest to the time that your child will be receiving expressed milk in your absence. If you're only gone for a few hours (that's what it sounds like from your post) you could try pumping in between your longest period of not nursing (for us this is after DS goes to bed, he usually sleeps 3-4 hours during his first stretch) to make up for the bottle LO gets while you're gone.
