So, a friend of mine just gave me a bunch of new Carter's clothes labeled 3m, but obviously baby is now too big for them so we need a bigger size There was no gift receipt and I didn't want to be rude, so I've tried a bunch of different stores (Target, Walmart, Costco, BabiesRUs, Carter's, Kohls- can't be Macy's or Nordstrom's because no return sticker) and no luck. They are Just One Year with orange and yellow Carter's tags, and wiggle in bodysuits and creepers with purple Carter's tags. I tried putting in the tag info online and googling but nothing came up.
Finally I texted friend Thursday to find out where she got them from so I can get a bigger size but she hasn't replied, and now I'm worried I was rude AND I still have no idea where they came from. UGH! Any advice, or anyone know what stores cary Carter's and have those tags?
Re: Returning clothes- everywhere sells Carter's!
i wouldn't find it rude if someone asked me where i got the clothes from to exchange for a bigger size...did you tell her they were too small?
i could see i guess if she found stuff on sale cheap that she doesn't want you to see that she spent very little on the gift...or if maybe she regifted them (does she have a LO?)
i'd take them back to Target to see if they'll just exchange them straight across
Just One You is Target's Carter's label. They can return it without receipt IF 1) it is still an item they have in stock AND 2) you have not already hit the $50 limit on returns without receipt.
Carter's with a purple label... does it say "watch the wear" and look like it's written in crayon rather than block letters? If so, it's a totally different Carter's line that is sold at discount stores like Big Lots. You can't return these at most stores without a receipt.
