Since Myst was talking about printing out pictures I have to ask if you ladies are making actual photo albums of your LO's? I know a lot of people do the photo books from shutterfly but they are expensive. I feel like with even my wedding photos they are still sitting in a box somewhere and I never put them in an album (or saved on the computer). I love being able to look at my own baby albums and want LO to be able to do the same.

Re: Photo Albums of LO
I have printed out a few pics here and there but the only actual album we have is very small. I upload all my LO pics to shutterfly in the meantime until I can make a digital book or decide to just use regular prints. Then nice thing about that is that they never delete the pics and it has the date taken in the info section. The pics I'm getting today are actually to send to my parents and mil.
I think I may wait until he's 6 months or a year old to do a big book. I also look for coupon codes for these books or may even use my pampers gtg points. We have a few books from shutterfly- from our honeymoon, wedding, and one of Biscuit. I really cherish them.
there are lots of online photobook services such as picaboo, blurb, and mypublisher. if you sign up for emails, they have a lot of deals, including buy one get one free!
i am printing out some pictures for a brag book and also a friend of mine gave me an idea to make a photo album for DD of herself. it wont be 'nice' since her slobbery little fingers will be all over it, but i thought that was a cool idea.
I have plans to do the photo book from one of the online services. I want to put my Maternity pics along with LO's newborn, 3mo, 6mo, 9mo and 1 year pics in it. I have the same photographer doing ALL of these photo sessions.
I may make a separate photo album with the random photos I've taken of him. I'd like to have a photo book or album for every year of his life. Or at least for the first 5 years until he starts getting school pictures.
I'm making a little book for each month of his first year on CVS.com...you can make smaller books for under $10 and pick up in store. I don't know if you have one near you but I know that if I just print the pictures I'll never get them put in a book so for me this is easier and worth the money.
P.S.- Sorry my picture is so RIDICULOUSLY large! I don't know how to make it smaller
I print several a month and put them in his baby book with captions, milestones, memories, etc.
It also has cards, balloons, id tags, etc from the hospital, mother's day, easter, father's day.
