Need some help...birthday gift!

Hi ladies! I am a regular poster on TTGP, but I wanted to pop over to seek some suggestions from you all. My BFF is 34 weeks right now, and her birthday is Monday. I wanted to get her something nice-perhaps something she could take with her to the hospital? Any suggestions? I was thinking about a really nice pair of pj's or a comfy yet stylish outfit she could take with her to the hospital for when people come to visit her at the hospital...is this stupid? TIA!!     I would say a comfy pair of slippers/a housecoat would be something I would want to have at the hospital. A pair of comfy pjs also sounds wonderful.

    Have you thought about perhaps a spa day (prior to her delivery) instead? I had a friend get me a spa day for a shower gift which consisted of a prenatal massage, mani/pedi and a facial. I plan on using a few days before my due date to relax and unwind prior to going into labor.

    I would LOVE a gift like that for my bday before having a baby! Pj's, not so much. I wore the gowns most of the time in the hospital (only 2 days withouth my "comfy" pj's) because i didn't want to ruin them with blood from possible leakage. I'm sure she'll appreciate anything though!

    I agree with PP. This sounds like a wonderful birthday present and I'm sure she would greatly appreciate a day like that!
