I just have to say that I really miss eggs and cereal (milk aversion keeps me away from the cereal). Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and pretty much all I've been able to eat for the last 5 weeks for breakfast is bagels or toast.
What prompted this vent is thinking about our upcoming trip to an all-inclusive resort, where I would usually have yummy restaurant breakfasts such as Eggs Benedict, but that will probably not happen. Oh well! I've been to this chain before and they usually have yummy pastries, so at least I should be able to find a bit more variety than I've been getting at home. French toast, waffles, and pancakes are also ok right now (but without the syrup), and I don't have the motivation to make those things myself, so at least I will have that to look forward to on vacation ![]()
Anything you ladies are particularily missing?

I would be upset too. Breakfast is my favorite food, morning, noon or night. The first couple of weeks it always made me sick. I think it was the eggs, but now I'm starting to feel better after eating it.
I can say that I can't wait for food to be satisfying again. Hubby would also like it if I stopped saying, "It's okay, I guess".
i miss my raw food....runny eggs, rare steak, and oysters on the half shell.
Lucky! I can't even seem to have them as part of a breakfast sandwich at fast food places (which is something I normally love). It tastes ok but then I do not feel good afterwards.
Me too! Along with sushi and blue cheese.
I'm 100% with you! And now I've been craving weird things since my body's not getting the Calcium it needs. I hope the lactose issue goes away and doesn't stick around for the entire pregnancy.
