Any other plus-sized ladies out there looking for maternity clothes and getting frustrated? I just want to get some bottoms! Gap doesn't carry all of their sizes in Maternity (WTF, Gap?). Old Navy has very few options. Motherhood/Destination Maternity have a few options, but not much. I can't find this supposed plus-size section on the Target website. Everything else I seem to find is sooo frumpy! Anyone finding any good stores to shop in? Trying not to get down about this, but I just want some pants/shorts/jeans that aren't tight and I can't wear stretchy, yoga pants every day.

Re: Plus-sized Maternity Clothes? Need ideas.
I recently lost weight, but I feel your pain as you search to find some cute clothes. I did a quick online search & here's what I found. I haven't tried any of these sites, but hopefully they give you some good leads.
https://www.bellydancematernity.com/plus-size.php *This looks like a great site with more upscale stuff at fairly reasonable prices.

Good luck!
I'm right there with you!!!! I went into a Lane Bryant store and was complaining that no one carries plus size maternity clothes. The sales lady said that she has 6 kids and she's a plus size woman too. She said that she hated wearing maternity clothes and suggested that I just buy larger size clothes.
I have also found that the only way I can get maternity clothes from JC Penney was to order them online. I don't know if all of the stores have a large maternity section but my local one carries only regular size maternity clothes.
Good luck ladies!!!
Make a pregnancy ticker
I hear this suggestion a lot, but for a pear shaped girl, buying larger stuff doesn't help, because then it's falling off in my shoulders! I've only had luck at JCP, Old Navy, and Motherhood. The Motherhood stuff is so expensive and I'm always disappointed. If you are "regular" size there are lots of choices, but if you're plus sized it's like, okay here are 2 pairs of pants and 4 shirts, you should be good to go. Sad!
I refused to pay $60 for a pair of maternity jeans last pregnancy so I just made my own. I bought $24 pants from walmart, bought a bunch of mat band material (I think a stretch cotton jersey) and away I went.
I cut at the side seams and cut about half way down the zipper. I ended up removing the zipper and sewing the flap shut. I figured out the shape and width for the jersey material, added an elastic at the top and sewed it all together. It by no means looked like store professional but all my tops were long enough that you couldn't see my sewing job. Comfiest pants ever.
Happy Easter
My Blog
I got all my clothes last time from destination maternity online, old navy and target.
Its hard, but I only got enough staples, jeans, slacks and a few tops, bc once you gift birth, you will want to get back into your regular clothes.
