How many baby hangers did you get?

I registered for 50 hangers, and I've already gone through about 15. Will I need more than this? Will this be enough? It's the first girl grand-daughter, so I probably should expect a lot of clothes!!

My kids have A LOT of clothes so we have a ridiculous amount of hangers. I would see how far 50 gets you and then you can always go out and buy more.

I have easily used 70 hangers and am constantly running out, this is on top of filling a 5 drawer dresser with folded clothes. I wouldn't go buy a ton in case you don't need them, just pick them up as you get clothes. Also you can get them in packs of 8 at the dollar store. That is where we have been buying ours.

I don't know how many I bought, definitely more than 50 though and I always feel like I need more. Especially times like now, when she is in between sizes. I've broken out the next size up but she hasn't outgrown all of the smaller sizes. I hang everything but bottoms and onesies though.

i haven't bought or regsistered for hangers, oops! i don't even have any clothes.

i shudder to think of how many i will need for 2 girls!

I have one pack of 25 hangers in the closet right now - and not a single thing on one of them! That is what happens when you are Team Green - you just don't buy clothes. I am sure that will change after the baby gets here. All I have are onesies and pajamas.

I ended up needing about 90 because I hung most of Holden's clothes up so I would make sure to use them. The only thing he has in his dresser drawers are pjs, socks, plain onesies and his little shorts & pants.

I guess it all depends on how big the closet is and if you plan on hanging all the clothing or just a few sizes at a time. I actually have more hangers than I know what to do with. I would say that 90% of the people that gave us clothing at our shower kept the hangers on the stuff. So, I only really needed hangers for those others + any hand-me-downs I want to hang. When you have a girl, you end up getting so much clothing ! Right now I have her NB - 3 month sizes in her dresser, the 3-9 month clothing hung in the closet and 12+ folded in a storage thing under her crib. If you plan on storing any of the larger sizes just take those hanger off and use them for what you want to currently hang.

If you plan on registering for hangers, make sure you include a couple of packs of the one with the pants clips. Those really came in handy not only for pants/shorts but for any little dress that had a matching diaper cover.

Start with your 50 and add more. My mom has this irrational fear of running out of hangers, so every time she shows up at our house, she brings hangers, which I am finding a little hilarious. I am pretty sure I have close to 150. (insane.)

If you plan on registering for hangers, make sure you include a couple of packs of the one with the pants clips. Those really came in handy not only for pants/shorts but for any little dress that had a matching diaper cover.

Good idea!! I didn't realize I could get ones with clips. I was hanging up some clothes the other night and the little skirt or diaper covers weren't staying attached. The rod in the closet is pretty big so the store hangers don't fit over it.
