Am I delusional?

I really want a carrier that I can easily put LO onto my back so I can do some stuff around the house while she's awake.  I have an Ergo and a wrap.  I am in the process of learning how to back wrap but am not comfortable enough to do it without a spotter.  I am really wanting to get a Becco Butterfly II.  I really like that I could put her into the harness and sling her onto my back.  I'm also hoping I could wear her on my front.  I like the Ergo but she hates me wearing her in it.  After 5-10 min of her being in it she starts pushing on me and crying.  She does not do this in the wrap.  I think it isn't so comfortable because of my "well endowdness" and gets warm.  Would the BBII help her not get so warm because of the harness or would it be warmer?  I just really want a carrier I can put on quickly with her that she doesn't hate.  I tried a Gemini on in the store and she seemed to really like it although I didn't get to wear it for long.  Am I being delusional that she would be fine in the BBII even though she hates the Ergo?

    I don't think you are delusional, because babies like different positions at different times. At that age DD really liked being face forward so the Gemini was brilliant for me. Your LO might also like the back carry, DD also enjoys that, particularly now that she is bigger. In any case I can recommend the Gemini for all of this, I simply love mine and still use it every day (just went hiking this weekend with DD on DH's back). The face forward might also help prevent her getting hot because there is less skin on skin contact. Of course you can't keep her in that position as long as the others but definitely more than 10 minutes.

    I tried her facing forward and she did love it.  I just worry about doing it too much since I have a bad back.  It could definitely be a good solution until the weather gets a bit cooler!  Thanks!

    I had the BBII before I had my Ergo, and I originally bought that carrier because of the extra fabric, thinking it would be easier to put DS on my back.  Now that I have the Ergo, and DS is used to back carriers, I reach for that more because it's easier for me to use.  I find that the extra fabric is actually a pain for me.

    I also love wrapping DS on my back, and he likes it better because he ends up higher up than in the Beco or Ergo so he can see more.

    I hope you find a carrier that works for you!
