I'm having a hard time finding curtains and rods I like. It's easy to find super girly ones, like with the pink "gemstone" at the end of the rod, etc. but I'm looking for something a little more gender neutral and not finding anything. Any suggestions where else to look? I might even end up sewing some curtains, but I'd really like to find a nice youthful, fun drapery rod. TIA
Re: Sources for draperies/rods?
I love the Land of Nod's curtains! (But they were a little too pricey for us, so we just got some plain ones from Target.)
We wound up finding our curtain rods for a STEAL ($12!) at a Ross Dress for Less. They do have clear finials, but they're not "cut" like gemstones so it's more gender-neutral/less babyish. If you have the patience to pick through their inventory, you can usually get great deals at stores like this (TJ Maxx, etc.).
GL!
I splurged on curtains from Land of Nod and we love them! Their customer service is fantastic as well - like over the top fantastic.
We bought our rod at JCPenney - we needed something that didnt have an end to it because of how close the window is to the corner - but they had a lot of selection. I also agree with PP on checking places like TJMaxx and Marshalls, Home Goods, ect.
