Ava and I went to Walmart around 7:30 after a very long day of a birthday party and dinner/mall with friends. I just needed to grab a few things and it was close to bed time. She did really good except she put a stuffed Minnie Mouse in the cart. I had no idea how much it cost. When we finally got to the cashier after waiting in the long line (she was sooooooooo good) I asked the cashier how much the Minnie was and he said $8. Which isn't a lot of money but she has so many stuffed animals and I only came for milk and eggs so I said I don't think we will get it today. I finished cashing out and left the store. As I was walking out a lady came running out and said you forgot this. It was the Minnie. I said um we didn't pay for that thinking Ava had dropped it on the way out. She said I know we bought it for her. I realized it was the lady who was behind us in line. I was speechless and all I could say was thank you so much. She said you're welcome and god bless you. I got to my car and started bawling. I felt as if my mom had just smiled down on me from heaven in the form of a stranger. Great and now I am crying again!! I hope that someday I can pay it forward!

That is so sweet.
One time at the Starbucks drive thru when I got up to pay for my coffee the lady said some guy came through earlier and paid an extra $20 to buy the next few people in line a cup of coffee. It made my day! So to pay that forward if I ever have a couple of extra $$ on me I usually do the same thing.
Awww. so sweet. Cried a lil coz I know how much you missed your mom.

That is awesome!
I had a lady buy me breakfast in the drive thru one morning around Christmas. It was such a awesome gesture. Made my day. Glad someone could make your and your daughters day!
