Met with the doctor overseeing Castle and the other babies in the special care nursery today. She said he can go home in a week, maybe 2, depending on how he does. At this point the only thing left he needs to do is feed on his own. I go in twice a day to BF but otherwise he is feeding through a tube (breastmilk). I think they are introducing bottles on Thurs (35wks) so hopefully he takes to it well! It's amazing to me that he could possibly come home next week! He's such a strong little boy!

Just wanted to share! It's been tough leaving him every day :/

    I'm glad he's doing so well and that he's looking to come home with you in such a short time!  That's great news!

    I am so happy to hear about Castle's progress.  He is definitely a very strong boy who has a very strong mom.  Yayyyyy for bringing him home soon!  keep us posted.
