Water makes me want to puke.

It's really the only thing that makes me this nauseous. But I'm sooooo thirsty. This catch 22 sucks!

*I am mixing a bit of lemonade in to mask the water taste, but I never drink juice (or anything besides water for that matter) so I can really only drink so much of it.*

  • I find that I like it better if I mix actual fruit into my water (squeeze lemon, lime, orange, etc), as opposed to bottled fruit juice.  The fruit juice is just too sugary for me.  Maybe that will help?

  • I'm in the same boat. Not pregnant, I am probably water's biggest fan. My #1 accesory is the water bottle I always have with me. I don't drink soda, coffee, juice or milk, so if it's not wine-- it's water.

That said....UGH! I can't even stand the sight of my h20 bottle these days. Nauseau city. Lemonade seems to help a bit, but I know I'm not getting as much water as I should since it turned against me last week. And it's 94 in CT today, so I know it's important. Yes, it sucks!

  • I went through a couple of weeks like that and I felt like I wasn't getting hydrated at all. I tried everything and the one thing that worked was mixing propel zero packs (those little single serving ones for water bottles) into my cup of water with lots of ice. I watered it down a little more than the directions say, and it had just enough berry flavor that I actually enjoyed it.

Some friends of mine suggested hot water with lemon instead of cold water, that way it's more like tea.

  • I'm having this same problem...it sucks! Just the sight of my water bottle makes me want to gag. I've been drinking V8 Fusion and a lot of milk. The only way I can drink water is with a bunch of lime in there. Guess I'm going to have to start bringing limes with me to work. I was even eyeing the coke machine today which normally I wouldn't go near. ugh!

  • Ladies, I feel your frustration all too well. Morning sickness has totally taken away my desire for water! I've been drinking a lot of non caffeinated carbonated drinks like Sprite and Sierra Mist, both which seem to help my stomach somewhat. Every time I have a sip of water, I want to vomit it back up.
