Flat head help

Does anyone know of a doctor that specializes in this?  Clear Lake area would be great!  We have a recommendation for Dr. Teichgraeber in the medical center but I was hoping we could find someone closer so thought I'd ask here.  Thanks!
After 2 years and 6 IUIs, we did it with IVF w/ ICSI!
BFP with no treatment!

Re: Flat head help

  • Try calling that doctor and seeing if they have a recommendation for someone in Clear Lake.  Just tell them you were referred to them, but they are a little out of the way.

  • Dr. Charlotte Stelly-Seitz, if you google you can find her number, I don't have it handy.

Thanks! Looks like she's a PT and not a cranial specialist that does helmets? Braylon doesn't need PT but we do think he nay need a helmet to help round the back of his head more.

Do you have a boppy noggin nest? At 4 months maddie's head was very flat and we thought we were going to need a helmet. I ordered this on the advice of friends and it helped immediately. Now at almost 8 months she has turned into a belly sleeper and her head is getting rounder every day. No helmet needed. Good luck!

Yes, we used one when he was a newborn, and he's been a tummy sleeper for over a month now, but his head isn't rounding out any more like DS1's did.  DS1 had a flat spot too but it went away.  DS2's is persisting, and we don't want to wait too long and then have the helmet on even longer if he does end up needing one.

She does do the helmets if you need one. Her specialty is spasticity management and cranial injuries.  Georgia only needed some stretching exercises for the left side of her neck, but there were very severe cases in the waiting room while we were there.  Dr. Charlotte is awesome, I REALLY liked her! I'm very picky about doctors, but I recommend her in a heartbeat.
