Conference Attire?

I am taking a hybrid grad school class this summer.  95% of the work is online, but I have to be on campus this Thursday and Friday for a Literacy Institute.

So I am wondering what I shoud wear.  The only other conferences I have attended are for Business Teachers, and we tend to wear business clothes.  Dress suits etc.

I was thinking that I could wear a long sleveless dress that has think straps at the top.  Then I could take a panache (spelling?) with me in case it is cold.  For the other day, I have gray pants with pink pin stripes, and a short sleve pink sweater. 

Do you think this would be ok?

    Sounds good to me.  It's summer and you are pregnant and above all you should be comfortable.  It sounds like what you have selected will look nice, which in my book is a bonus.

    Wait, you're not pregnant!!  Sorry, I thought your ticker was for pregnancy.  Still, I think your outfits sound fine.  The only time I wear suits to conferences is when I am presenting.
