Thanks but no thanks for a birthday present? My sisters booked me a mani/pedi for when we're in Florida for Christmas. I'm super excited about the pedicure because I haven't had one in forever, but I hate manicures. I don't have long nails and I hate having nail polish on my fingers. WWYD?

(The woman they booked me with only does nails - I can't switch the manicure for another service.)

I don't think you should look a gift horse in the mouth. In other words, just get the manicure too...just my opinion though.

I'd say just do it and have her do the filing, cuticles and massage. Hand massages are the best!

You could always do the manicure and not get polish on your nail. ?It would still be worth it. ?

No, there isn't in this case. You go and get the manicure, pick a clear or nuetral color and you can take the polish off when you get home.

Yep, I agree with the others. I hate having polish on my fingernails, but the rest of the mani feels pretty darn good. Just skip the polish.

Enjoy the hand massage. I usually get clear polish on my fingernails but there's no reason you couldn't go "nude" on them.

I'd get the manicure, but without polish. Or a clear polish, if it is the color that you don't want on your nails.
