NBR-Prayers x 2 needed

Been a rough 24 hours.

My best friend fell down the stairs yesterday and broke a rib and punctured her lung.  She's doing okay but has to be in the hospital for a couple of days.  Pray more for her husband, since he's doing Daddy duty and not all that good at it since their 2 year old is totally a mommy's girl.  And I can't help, since they're 3 hours away at their house in the mountains.  Ugh.

Also.. prayers for my hometown in east central Iowa.  Major storm damage all over the place.  Thankfully, no injuries reported so far, so you probably won't see it on the news.  But there are small towns that are pretty devastated.   My mom's place is fine, but there are trees and farm buildings that are pretty much gone.  Fields all flattened.  Amazing.

Talked to my friend today and she's doing well, considering, but has no idea when the doctors will let her go home.   Plus, her very unhelpful mother-in-law is coming to "help take care of things."  Good lord.  :)

As for the storm damage, this path of destruction covered well over 100 miles.  Almost all the towns hit are population under 1000, so it's pretty devastating to them to lose even one business.  In some towns, every single building and home has damage.  But like the good midwesterners they are, they're all pitching in to help each other.  Even via FB, the offers of help are flying in from all over.   And the best thing.. no one was even hurt.. let alone killed!
