s/o pre-walker shoes-wide feet?

Little one is pulling to stand, so I figure walking is not too far behind. Anyone with wide footed babies have any suggestions? I'm having trouble getting shoes to fit her but I haven't tried that many brands yet. Where in town do I even look for shoes?

    Stride Rite is all that ever fit Leo & Charlie. Later crocs could work too.

    I will say - and maybe I'm alone in this - you may want to just wait until she's walking to deal with the whole shoe thing. I wasted money on "pre-walker" shoes for both my boys and they were constantly falling off because of all the crawling around. It was especially annoying because they were Stride Rites and were expensive. DH has made me vow not to buy shoes for a pre-walking child ever again.

    Hmm, good advice. Although my mom's been on my case since she was a newborn to get her shoes to "complete her outfit" :)

    we started with the leather shoes (like robeeze) then went on to Pedoodles (super soft flexible soles, then on to see kai run.

    stride rights went too high up on the inner ankle area and kept leaving red marks on H after just a few minutes of trying on in the store. 

    I remember being told the barefoot in the house was best. So you might not want to rush it too much.
