I finally am taking steps in the right direction: I applied for college to get the rest of my degree! I dropped out when I was a junior after making some poor decisions. My awesome hubby and I made the decision for me to be a SAHM and for me to take some online classes. I'm tired of feeling 'dumb' because all of my friends have degrees and good jobs and I don't have a degree and work my butt off to make $11/hr.
This feels good

Good for you and good luck! And I hope you really never felt "dumb" for not having a degree, because that is totally unnecessary!
I dropped out of highschool because I was not full of good decisions when I was 16 years old, and now I have an MBA and am working on my CPA license. Timing can be so important, and now is YOUR time!
That's fantastic! I understand that feeling. I make more than 11 an hour but I get not having a degree and feeling like I'm not as good or whatever. Its not true. We are just as smart. Maybe just not as driven as some others. At least that's what it was for me.
I'm hoping to go back as soon as DH is done with his schooling. Right now I can make more money than he can because of the education I do have and the experience in my industry. Once he's done and in his career I will SAH and go to school.

That's awesome!!
But...you should not feel stupid because you don't have a college degree. My MIL is practically a genius, and she never even went to college!
Congrats! It's a good feeling. I just registered for an online class for the fall today, and I'm really looking forward to it. I still have two more years (well, we'll see how long it will actually take), until I finish my BA. I completed my second year just a few weeks before DD was born.
Congratulations! Make sure that your credits from your junior year and below will transfer and count towards your new college. My friend made that mistake and had to take a whole bunch of classes over because her credits didn't transfer.
You should never feel dumb...but you are making a very good decision by going back because a lot of jobs these days require a college degree. Also, people might flame me for saying this but having a college degree doesn't make you "smart"...I know a lot of people who are not the brightest but have college degrees!
Awesome. Good for you.
It will only benefit you in the long run, you have the rest of your life to utilize your degree and that is an accomplishment no one can take away from you. Education is so important and only becoming more so. It will really open so many doors for you.
I need to finish my Masters, I am 12 credits away but I just don't see myself doing it for a few more years, with the 2 kids and working full time.
